Since 1991, L'art en écrit presents limited editions of artist's writings accompanied by original works.

The collection aims at offering an exhaustive overview of contemporary art, through the whitings of those who art at the heart of this world, the artists themselves and not the critics or art historians.

To mark the publication of the hundredth and last book of the collection, the Editions Jannink has organised two exhibitions, one at the galerie Jean Brolly and the other at the Olivier Debré Creation Center in Tours. The visual artist Tadashi Kawamata has created a bookcase that can gather the 100 titles of the collection.

Since 2005, one can also find a bookshop version, which doesn't contain any original work, but a reproduction of one of them. This allows to reach a wider audience.
